Daniel Schmid viene de una temprana formación en ingeniería industrial, que decidió dejar a un lado para seguir una carrera en efectos visuales. Daniel con más de 10 años de experiencia en publicidad, como Iluminador y CG Supervisor , tanto en México y Polonia en Platige Imagen. Finalmente en el año 2013 se une a Industrial Light and Magic

En ILM Vancouver , ha contribuido para producciones como Captain America: the Winter Soldier, Transformers: Age of Extinction , Tomorrowland . Tambien participo como Lead Generalist en la Exitosa Jurassic World.
Su último Crédito es la & entrega de Star Wars participando como Lider de generalistas para Vancouver.
